Public Private Dialogue Forum Director for Strategic Communication and Partnerships Jacqueline Saidi Chishimba has implored the church to bridge the gap in fostering national values and unity.

Ms. Chishimba says the church plays a critical role in instilling values in communities and should not take its role lightly.

She has emphasized that without proper guidance and the word of God, communities and families are in disarray.

Ms. Chishimba was speaking during the Ordination Ceremony of 5 Reverends at the Grace Methodist Church in Lusaka today.

Speaking during the same event, The Very Reverend, Malenga Lungu called on the ordained reverends to serve the church and nation diligently.

Rev. Lungu further reiterated President Hakainde Hichilema's message of leaders being accountable.

He says the church is grateful that Government is committed to the fight against corruption.

Rev. Lungu says President Hakainde Hichilema's message is a reminder to those serving that national resources belong to the people of Zambia and must not be plundered.
