ACCIDENT VICTIM PUT TO REST AS PRESIDENT HH DONATES K20,000

One of the best Senior engineering Lecturers at Mulungushi university Moses Simpungwe who died in the same accident with musician Dandy Krazzy, near Kapiri, has been put to rest.
And President Hakainde Hichilema has donated K20,000 to the family of the late Lecturer Moses Simpungwe, who died in a road traffic accident alongside music icon Wesley Chibambo, popularly known as Dandy Crazy.

Central Province Permanent Secretary Milner Mwanakampwe led thousands of mourners in putting Dr. Simpungwe to rest at Kabwe's Old St Mary's Cemetery today.

President Hichilema, who was deeply saddened by Dr. Simpungwe's death, made a personal donation of K20,000 to the bereaved family in appreciation and recognition of the service he rendered to the nation.

Meanwhile, Mulungushi University Vice-Chancellor Royson Mukwena thanked President Hichilema for the donation and appreciated his commitment to supporting deceased public servant's families.

Dr. Simpungwe was alone in the blue Nissan Hardbody and died on the spot in the road traffic accident on the Great North Road last week.

Today, Information and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana and his counterpart Arts Permanent Secretary Chama Fumba visited the funeral house of the late artist Wesley Chibambo fondly known as Dandy Krazy.

Here are the highlights by MOI;

✅ President Hakainde Hichilema has extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, and the families of the other tragic accident victims which happened on new year's eve between Kabwe and Kapiri Mposhi.

✅ Government will cover all funeral expenses for Wesley Chibambo and the other accident victims to ensure they receive a befitting send-off.

✅ Government support reflects its recognition of Chibambo's contributions to the country as a musical artist.

✅️ Meanwhile, the late Chibambo's elder brother and family spokesperson, only identified as Chifwenge expressed gratitude to government for the moral and financial support.

✅️ Burial arrangements will be done in conjunction with government and members of public will be informed accordingly.

✅️ The late Wesley Chibambo was a celebrated Zambian musician whose contributions to the music industry has left an indelible mark on the nation.

ECL AND HIS TONSE ALLIANCE MEMBERS LACK PROPER REASONING

Any normal political analysts knows that as things stand in Zambia, apart from the four UPND STRONGHOLDS there is no Province or region whether previously PF stronghold, where President HH can get less than 50% of the votes in 2026 General elections.

In the last General elections, ECL never got more than 80% from all their perceived PF strongholds despite his tribal campaigns and vote rigging and thinking of 'ALEBWERERAPO' is not just hazardous but a sheer waste of time and resources.
Fact is that President HH will never get less than 90% votes from Southern, Western, North-Western and Central Provinces and there is no way an opposition candidate even Lungu himself can unseat him.
If ECL and the opposition ALLIANCE can't sit down and reason like we do then there in for a shock and the worst ever electoral defeat in Zambian history.
