A QUICK MEETING WITH YOURSELF

As you begin growing up, you begin to notice how powerful words are. Someone said something good about you, and it made you feel so good. Or vice versa; someone said something nasty about you, and it hurts; just as bad. Even when you know it is not true. It still hurts.

How come? Because as we mature, we invest in understanding words and attached meanings. We think and meditate on our conversations even without intending to. And many people offend in words. So, many word exchanges hurt us more than they built us.

Here is a way out

1. You may not be responsible for what someone thinks about you, and what they say to you may not be under your control. BUT you REALLY have the right to choose whether or not to be affected by what they say. This is where the work is! They say it is not the water outside the boat that makes it sink. It is the water that enters.

2. You NEED to have a meeting with yourself to define who you are. This is critical, especially for these days. If for example, someone said that you are ugly. And you have never looked at yourself and defined yourself as beautiful, those words will mean something.

If someone says to you that you are so anointed and can start your own ministry and you have never defined yourself as a minister or a word filled Christian, you will most likely start a church.

People can try to stop you, limit you, discredit you. Don’t pay it any attention. They might as well be talking to the wall. God has already blessed you. He’s already marked you, anointed you, empowered you, destined you to fulfill your assignment. People can’t stop you. The enemy can’t stop you. The only one that can stop you is you. If you get bitter, discouraged, you can stop the blessing. But if you’ll stay on the high road and keep doing the right thing, everything that was meant for your harm, God will turn to your advantage. The blessing will always override the curse.

THE DANGER OF SOUL-TIES 🙏🏽 Spare a Minute!

Today, I came to share some Wisdom or insight on SOUL-TIES.
A Soul-tie in simpler English terms is a tie that binds you to another or many others through many ways and some examples is through;

1. S*X.
2. BLOOD COVENANTS.
3. WORDS.

S*X
S*x is one of the Ways ties are created, you can think it's just fun and games or excitement but what actually happens is that you get to receive all that the person is coming with, So if a person slept with 10 people and you happen to sleep with him or her who hasn't cut the soul-ties, the moment you meet him or her, you collect all that the 10 other people have deposited, So if they all had different things fighting them,you collect everything such that if one has;

-Spirit of delay
-Spirit of Backwardness
-Poverty
-Sickness
-Lust
-Anger
-Disappointments
-Stagnation ETC

Let us just say all of them were all having one of the problems mentioned above and you meet all of them, Whether it is your first time sleeping with them, You collect all they came with if they didn't break free from them. So if you had something fighting you now you have 11 things. It gets worse if you already have many ties that means you add up on what you already have.

BLOOD COVENANTS
Many take exchange of blood in Relationships and speak words over the Blood or Sip a little blood from each other and say words like I will never leave you or I am the only one in your life but after the Relationship or Marriage (In rare cases) fail, one finds it difficult to move on from the person because there is blood connecting you to another. Blood speaks!!

WORDS
Words as simple as this might be are one of the most powerful ways soul-ties are created, Many call them promises made in Relationships but if you look deep on some of these promises you will discover many are actually soul-ties, Words like;

- I will never date anyone apart from you
- I will never find happiness aside from you
- If I don't marry you, I won't marry anyone
- You are the only one for me.
- My life without you is miserable, I can't progress without you.
- I will die if I don't marry you.
ETC

You might think some are funny or they are just words but they are ties being created such that after you are done and the Relationship is over, you find that you keep on missing your ex, keep on thinking about your ex or you firmly moved on but you keep having dreams about your ex or s*xual dreams with your ex, Why you might wonder when you find you didn't even have s*x with them neither Any blood covenant but why is this happening? Well WORDS have the ability to create ties too.

Words you might ask..
Do you know Words spoken during a time of a Wedding are not called ties but Vows but Words spoken before A wedding or Marriage Blessing are called Ties.

That is why in a Marriage you can say any Words of sort because You are speaking them as a result of A blessing you receive as a result of Marriage and has no tie to it.

One of the way to break free from Soul-ties is through Prayer!!

You’re going to be disappointed again.” Before you dwell on that, before you let it take root, ask yourself, “Where is this thought coming from?” If it’s not positive, hopeful, encouraging, empowering, then it’s not from God. That’s the enemy doing what he does best: trying to plant negative seeds, fearful seeds, inferior seeds. God said in Isaiah, “If you’ll keep your mind stayed on Me, I will keep you in perfect peace.” What is your mind stayed on?
