The Music industry is being run by secret societies from major record labels, distribution companies and other major media entities. The Industry is rigged & most upcoming artists don't know the real truth about this type of business industry. This is why artists run to get signed, and later on CRY when it backfires, they're all just being used as puppets (a product of the Industry). Do you know why most artists die as soon as they make it? huh, A death of a famous celebrity means more revenue for record labels and publishing companies, once you sign a deal, you automatically sold your soul, you become nothing but a pawn to be moved around and disposed of once they're satisfied. You are just a product, nothing more. Ask the mainstream artists, they're very happy in front of the screen but behind closed doors they're crying their lungs out. Being Independent also has disadvantages but it's better and it's worth it...

As Soon As You Sign With A Label They Take 80% to 85% Off Of That 100% of your Intellectual property Because They Will Be Handling Every Business Side Of Your Career While You Only Worry About The Creative Side Of Things.
This Is How It Goes,
When You're Signed The Label Gets A Beat From A Producer For That Song. The Producer Owns 50% Publishing Royalties/Mechanical Of The Song Not Negotiable (Its By Default & Its Standard) So You Are Left With 50% Publishing. The producer also gets 25% of the artist's Sale Earnings. Out of 20% sales the producer gets 4% of that. Which now means you are left with 16% in sales.

If The Song Has 2 Featured Artists, It Means Each Other Artist Will Own 12.5% Of The Song When You Sign The Split Sheets. Which Then Means You Now Have 25% Left In Your Wallet. But The Percentage Can Be Negotiated, Its Up To You & The Featured Artist Depending On What You Tell Them Via The Plans For

Our today's Topic is
HOW TO MAKE IT IN MUSIC INDUSTRY 🤗
We've had a lot of young artists felling off and out of favours because they can't make it to the bigger stages.

A lot have invested a lot of money in their crafts but still fail to make it, and ends up regretting doing that.

Some have spent a lot of money in featuring big artists thinking it will grant them an instant pot on the top spot in the industry but still fell off.

Well, we've taken a kin interest in taking an analysis and investigate the reasons for this. Could it be that these people are not just talented? Well there some talented artists who are also trailing from behind and failing to do it on a high level.

Here are the results of our research.
(I). A lot of our artists fail to progress because they don't take enough time to perfect their projects. As an artist you need to have a good time to dig deep, give your listeners a chance to know what you are trying to communicate with them. Let's them be intrigued by the information you are giving them, they'll appreciate your thinking abilities because of your nice delivery on the beat.

(ii). Have time to learn what your friends are doing locally and internationally. For example there is a trend that has come in. Artists putting NEWS on the beat, rapping the whole news and a lot of people love current affairs, but they don't like listening to the News or reading the News Paper because it's some kind of boring. They prefer listening to it on a beat with some creativity added to it to spice it up and make it sound better.
You can get a lot of followers by doing that. You can rap about cooking where you can creatively stipulate the ingredients and the steps to follow and a lot of people will love you for that. That's what most of your friends are doing on the international scene. And the whole world is listening to them and following their pages.

So many people become relaxed and complacent towards life, when they reach the comfort line in life forgetting that life can be much more positive than just being comfortable.

The comfort level is exposed to so many risks among them are; government policy change, red tape on some products, trade embargos, change in consumer behavior, retrenchment and down sizing.
Rising inflation, exchange rate (to get $100 now you need K2200) yet in 2015 you just needed K1000 for a ($100) .

In simple terms money is losing value so fast these days. The same money you used to build a house 🏠 a few years ago, can not build the same house now.
Things are becoming expensive nowadays.
And also technology is bringing so much change in career requirements, causing retrenchments and down sizing of employees and management staff.

So if you are to be ahead of time, you have to be investment conscious.
This is not the time to play around with resources, raising capital is hard bane! Especially for you to start spending on people and thing that won't matter in future.

What puts you at the cutting edge in today's world 🌎
Is superior knowledge and ability to reverage resources.
Look at how many companies that are no more, your business is not immune to the present challenges and risks of expiration due to new competition and technology.

If you are to move to the luxury stage of your financial life.
