What we should strive and fight for as entrepreneurs is to ensure that we have the enabling environment to help our businesses be sustainable and protect the interests of Zambia and Zambians by and large. We are on the wake-up call to ensure that we move to a developed economy which we should not again allow to take over 30 years to 50 years from now. If this new generation will allow Zambia to still be docile for over 30 years from now then the education architecture and policy frameworks we have laid on the ground will all be in vain. We do not need politicians to survive but we need them to protect our interest which is to solve Zambian's problems. WE CAN DO IT DEAR CHAMPIONS.
Mwala Mooto writes:This country needs more entrepreneurs than politicians. Manje problem we think politics is the only way to serve this country hence everyone wants to be a politician. Apa I have people always telling me; just join politics, ehhh you'll represent the youths well in parliament, ehhh we need voices like yours BLA BLA BLA.
Guys if it's all about impact, entrepreneurs generate far much greater impact than politicians. My small business currently employs about 30 people of which once operating at full capacity by the end of this year it'll employ over 100 people. Not talking about the tax and indirect jobs created through the farmers who supply us.
Imagine the impact of entrepreneurs like Stephen Mulenga Mikalile, the hundreds of jobs that they have created, talk of the likes of Fisho Mwale, Dr. Siatwambo and many others who have established businesses that employ hundreds and contribute millions to the treasury which are plundered and stolen by politicians.
Let's not be deceived by people seeking jobs ati I want to serve, bonse bali same. Ta kwaba politician who cares for you ba youth. The earlier you wake up to this reality the better.
