Our Animated Short Film TWAANO was nominated for two awards at the Zambia Short Fest - The Zambian Short Film Festival on Saturday and was able to bag the Best Sound award against other amazing local live action films.🏆🥳

It's an absolute honor to be nominated for the Fakugesi Awards! The African animation landscape is vibrant and awe-inspiring, and we're thrilled to stand alongside exceptional productions like Kizazi Moto, Ajaka, Uli & Tata, and many more.
We're also humbled to now call some of our role models colleagues, a testament to the industry's growth and camaraderie.

As we celebrate Twaano's nominations, we reflect on our journey. Just a year ago, we embarked on pre-production, and none of us imagined our first film would achieve such remarkable recognition.🤧

Twaano: The Animated short film was nominated for the fakugesi awards in South Africa this week under Short Film category. However this year the award show has a new category called “Audience Favorite” where the winner is decided by the amount of votes.

For the first Zambian Original Animated Film this would mean a lot if we could bring it home !!! 🫵😤🇿🇲
