Marvel fans will be seeing a lot of Kang the Conqueror in the future if a pair of new rumors are accurate.

The Cosmic Circus reports that at least three Jonathan Majors Kang variants appear in Loki season two, with insider MyTimeToShineHello possibly adding to that, while FilmOdysseyMCU says variants of Kang show up in Shang-Chi 2.

He Who Remains was already in the first season of Loki, and the post-credit scene for Quantumania featured Loki and Mobius watching a lecture from Victor Timely, another Kang variant, so this rumor shouldn't be all that surprising.

MyTimeToShineHello has mentioned Mr. Gryphon is coming, a variant of Kang who purchased Stark Tower in the comics, and founded Qeng Enterprises (which was briefly teased in Loki season one). This lines up with previous rumors from DanielRPK, as well as speculation from Cosmic Circus on who the Loki S2 variants will be. It seems likely we'll see Victor Timely, Mr. Gryphon, and possibly Kang the Conqueror (although a different version from Quantumania), all played by Jonathan Majors.

Shang-Chi 2 (possibly titled, Wreckage of Time) is rumored to have ties to Doctor Strange 3. We know very little about the plot, but some assume it deals with Shang-Chi teaming up with the MCU version of the Agents of Atlas to fight Kang in some way.

This could potentially result in Shang-Chi's team having to fight against Doctor Strange and the new Avengers in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, after discovering variants of Stephen Strange are doing more damage to the multiverse than Kang Prime.

There's still a fair amount of speculation here, but it does seem as though Jonathan Majors' Kang will be showing up quite a bit before Kang Dynasty.

Loki S2 releases this summer on Disney Plus. Kang Dynasty hits theaters on May 2, 2025.
