Calling all filmmakers, content creators, motion designers, and influencers! We are thrilled to announce the Africa Must Think Creators Competition.

Over the years, we have awarded over 1 million kwacha to deserving winners from various competitions aimed at empowering creatives and communities. Here's your chance to craft an engaging advertisement for this year's Africa Must Think Conference, which reflects the theme "Time for Action."

**Prizes:**
- 1st: K40,000
- 2nd: K30,000
- 3rd: K20,000
- 4th: K6,000
- 5th: K4,000

SUBMISSION PROCESS:
1. Share this post (we will verify this during the selection process).
2. After filming, submit your video using the Google Form link in the comments section.
- This post is pinned on this page, so you can easily find the comments section when you are ready to submit your video.
3. Wait until the 24th of May (deadline for submissions) to upload your video to your social media accounts. Tag both this page and the Africa Must Think Conference page.

**SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:**
1. The video must be between 1 minute and 1 minute 30 seconds—no more, no less.
2. It should reflect the theme "Time for Action," with an emphasis on mindset change, entrepreneurship, youth participation, and hard work.
3. Include the name of the conference, its date, and location within the video, as outlined below:

- National Heroes Stadium, 29th September 2024, 12:00 to 17:30
- Host: Dumisani L. N’cube - The Radical Entrepreneur
- Standard ticket: K100; Gold ticket + Book: K300; Platinum ticket + Books + VIP: K1000
4. The video must be original content created by the entrant.
5. The video should not contain any offensive or inappropriate content.

GERMANY ASKS CREDITORS TO HELP ZAMBIA

The Germany Government has asked international creditors to help Zambia get out of it's indebtedness so that government can focus on providing services for its citizens.

Germany Ambassador to Zambia ANNE WAGNER-MITCHELL says the current debt crisis needs all creditors to be involved so that Zambia can restructure it with the help of all stakeholders.

Speaking in Lusaka on the sidelines of an international conference for business reporters from across Africa, Ms. WAGNER-MITCHELL also called on Zambians to understand and appreciate efforts government is doing to come out of it's debt crisis.

The Germany envoy says the removal of subsidies is one measure that Zambians need to understand because it is creating savings which will be taken to other needy areas.

Meanwhile, Ms. WAGNER-MITCHELL is hopeful that the abolishing of the Defamation of the President and the possible enactment of the Access to Information Law will open up the democratic space.

Ms. WAGNER-MITCHELL says the current government has brought in reforms which will open up the democratic space and allow for democracy to flourish.

She says over the years, the democratic space was shrinking but she is happy that reforms are being implemented to free up the country.

And, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung -KAS Media Sub Saharan Africa Director CHRISTOPH PLATE says his organization has decided to bring business reporters to Zambia to appreciate how the country has changed over the years.

Mr. PLATE said there is alot happening in Zambia politically and economically which rarely makes it in the international media.

DRAFT LAW FOR ONLINE TAXI SERVICES DONE

Government has developed a draft Statutory Instrument -SI- containing proposed guidelines on the operations of online taxi services.

Transport and Logistics Minister, FRANK TAYALI says the draft document has been sent to the Ministry of Justice to ensure that proposed regulations are within the law.

Mr. TAYALI says once the document is approved by legal experts, it will be tabled before Cabinet for further debate and possible adoption.
