Livingstone Mayor writes;

Bantu Bakamina, Katwamba Notuyowa 😂😂

Some of your parents have unrealistic expectations. Your boyfriend earns K5,000 per month, yet they expect him to pay a Lobola of K80,000.

Additionally, he is expected to cover the costs of a K150,000 white wedding and take you on a honeymoon.

It is no surprise that many individuals find themselves deeply in debt after getting married.

Instead of spending the first five years of their marriage establishing a strong financial foundation for their new family, newlyweds often spend this crucial time paying off debts.

This situation leads to increased stress levels due to financial strain and debt.

Moreover, they exacerbate the issue by having children before resolving their financial instability.

It seems that cultural and traditional expectations are prioritized over achieving a stable and fulfilling life.

How's the volume men? 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️

WHY "KASONGO" WAS COMPOSED.

His real name was Kasongo wa Kanema, died 2 years ago and buried at Lang'ata Cemetery.....

“Kasongo” has been trending but few know the story behind the song.
"Kasongo" was done by the band Super Mazembe, a congolese band that moved to Kenya in 1974. The band members had gone to visit their friend Kasongo in Eastleigh, Nairobi.

On reaching his house, they met Kasongo’s wife and they asked her if he was at home.
Kasongo’s wife welcomed them and told them that she had not seen Kasongo for days.

Back then, there was no internet and it was rare to find someone who owned a phone. They decided to send him a message through music, hoping it would reach him.

The Super Mazembe members started creating a song for Kasongo in his living room, telling him to come home because his wife is worried and she’s looking for him but can’t find him.

They went on to record the song and, as they say, the rest is history.

Here are the lyrics:

Message by Moonga B M Mazuba
At the end of our life the gospel reminds us we will be judged not by what degrees we have not according to our possessions and positions in society but will be judged they way we use our power and it is very simple to help the poor to welcome strangers to visit prisoners and the sick in homes and hospital and to Care, to clothe the naked remember Jesus did not say cure the sick he said care for the sick he did not say eradicate poverty no he didn't say that he said help those in need and give food to the hungry sometimes we became so ambitious to change the world but we neglect what is basic and simple to help the poor we might not be able to solve poverty of this world but by helping one person will make a difference let us be like Jesus the shepherd who uses his power to serve to love and to Care.amen
