We provide commentary and sound systems for outside and indoor events throughout South Africa , Africa and, if needed, anywhere in the world. We also do sound for theatre shows and pageants.

On Friday my pals donated the full service of one of three Aviation Fire Engines they have in their fleet. This was to ensure that in the event of an emergency the event had a proper trained crew and fully equipped tender. After the event the Crew did a demo spray of their pumps and monitors.
This one tender would have worked miracles in that car park yesterday. Fire trucks are always a “ Grudge Expenditure”
Well done to Hardus Du Raan who was thrown in a major event from the deep end.

Fantastic to see new acts coming to Airshows in SA. SA display pilots are doing everthing in their power to bring back a sparkle to the Airshow scene. Latest is the Alou 111 flown by the master himself Jouba Joubert showing a gunship reenactment.

What a weekend wow. Got woken up early this morning by my Airshow pilot friends to inform us the security gate at our guest house was broken open and one of the cars stolen. I went ice cold as all our vehicles were in that park. Discovered that the liberators took a display pilots vehicle.
Now it was action time. We called our BHM crew member Capt Lappies and he sprung into action. Jouba and Bennie with the Alou and Gazelle ready to search. Douw Raimondos team from Silent Alarms were super fast and not long Hannes had every camera scanning. Info came in the the stolen car was Lesotho bound. Horrible times these. Thank you to everybody who jumped into action so fast. Crime is out of control. Despite the wind , fire and theft Bethlehem hosted an incredible show. A wonderful thanks giving dinner for all at our luxury guest house. Some photos of our units parked

So a strong wind and a braai in a car park don’t go down well. Thousands of people flocked to the Bethlehem Airshow today. The organiser pulled out all the stops to ensure that everything was perfect. The huge car park was burnt well in advance.
However the problem arose when a lot of people started parking all over the place. Many in an area that had not been burnt.
So dudes were having a braai when the very strong wind blew the braai over. The fire spread rapidly. Firefighters had to move fast to try and contain the runaway fire.
The thick smoke made it impossible for the pilots to see the ground and the show was stopped. We as public broadcasters had our hands full as we had to keep the very big crowd informed. Hats off to Elvis MANENE and CHRISTO vd Berg who worked through the emergency messages.

Great to be able to field two massive Airshow teams. On Friday we will have an Airshow OB unit at the Children’s Flite at Tempe in Bfn. At the same time a second crew will be setting up at the Bethlehem Airshow. Great to be working with two full teams. Our sincere thanks to Wyndham and Stanley from FERREIRA AVIATION. I will be flying from one show to the other in a Cessna 210.

There is a stunning Italian Restaurant in Durban North called Mama Luciana. Through our good friend Len Heine we were introduced to the owners and their fine team. Last night they hosted a “ Welcome to Durban “ for our full crew. The food was delicious and the company even better.
During today making use of a digital link system they heard us give them a great shoutout. So this evening we had our thanksgiving dinner at the restaurant. Many many thanks to Shelly and Happy as well as the rest of the team. What a treat for all of us. Airshow Royalty.

What a great honour to have received a copy of MY RADIO MEMORY from the author ADV. Robin Sewlal. We have become very good friends of late and share so much in common in the world of broadcasting. I am also very honored to feature in the next edition of his series. Looking forward to seeing you in KZN soon Robin. Many years of hard work finally being recognized.

Tonight I am bursting with pride. My great friend from The Silver Falcons, Lt Col OG Mutloane was awarded command of 16 SQN. This is South Africa’s Rooivalk attack squadron. I have followed OGs flying career very closely. From flying as No 5 to becoming the Leader and then of to 16 as a Rooivalk Pilot. Today he is the Boss of this great SQN. He follows in the footsteps of many great aviators that have flown Rooivalk. Well done my dear friend. You have done your country proud.

A big shout out to Andrew Cases for building our Directors Console and working round the clock to have it ready for the Rustenburg Airshow. Sadly we are not going anymore. We will be now using this console at the forthcoming Durban Virginia Airshow. Thanks Andrew. You stay a champ.
