Muslims living in different parts of the world who do not see the new moon in their country, on the evening as seen by those in Saudi Arabia, must follow the day of Arafah & Eid according to their country, days calculated from their own sighting of the moon, even if it means that the days of Arafah & Eid does not coincide with that of Makkah. * it is for this reason that many Muslims in other parts of the world voluntarily pray & fast on both days when the day of Arafah is observed in Makkah & then the next day when it is observed in their own country, taking into consideration that fasting on an Eid day is not permissible, thus the Eid is celebrated according to the day of their country & not as per Saudi Arabia.
