Ballet meets jazz with the Cape Town City Ballet performing David David Nixon’s full length, jazzy ballet set to George Gershwin’s magnificent music. Accompanied on stage by The Cape Philharmonic Orchestra with singers from Cape Town Opera.
Ballet meets jazz with the Cape Town City Ballet performing David Nixon’s full length production joined by the Jazzart Company dancers. Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra will accompany every performance along with singers from Cape Town Opera. Introducing: The Lunch Time Concert 🌟

Cape Town City Ballet is happy to present a short snippet of our upcoming production of Maina Gielgud’s Don Quixote opening on the 12 August till 2 September. Along with this we present a few pieces within our repertoire to showcase the brilliance and expertise of our amazing company dancers. 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘀

We all have many hidden talents ;-) This past couple of weeks I worked (hard) on designing and building the backdrops for Tamryn Carstens School of Ballet concert that will be held on 20 and 21 October.

I absolutely loved working on this project - not only because it was something new I can try my hand at - but also supporting my daughter and her ballet school.
