The one question I’m often asked is advice on which I think is the best digital marketing strategy. The answer is unfortunately not straightforward.
It depends on so many factors such as your type of business, stage of business journey, objectives, budget, urgency or timing, and most importantly, your ideal audience.
The latter for me is always at the heart of any strategy 💟 having worked in communication and PR for more than two decades where people always come first.
One constant factor however is that the digital landscape continues to change at a rapid pace – and so do people’s needs and priorities.
In my view, when strategising for clients, there are short- and long-term strategies and then some trump cards for a competitive edge!🌟
The long-term strategies are mostly organic that include SEO and social media campaigns, among others. On the other hand, short-term strategies achieve fast results with mostly paid campaigns, but these need more budget than the long-term strategies.
The best strategies are however implemented according to the client’s specific needs – and never a one-size-fits-all approach.
