Who’s winning the GNU?
Ever since the formation of the Government of National Unity (GNU), President Cyril Ramaphosa has signed 2 contentious bills into law, despite opposition from members WITHIN the GNU itself. The NHI was signed into law shortly before the 2024 elections, despite also being opposed by opposition parties. But in the last few months, the Bela Bill, and more recently the Expropriation Bill was signed into law, despite GNU members like the DA opposing it. Dan Corder (@dancorderonair) argues that it seems like the ANC is still ruling the roost? Mmmmm🤔#gnu #ramaphosa #anc

A lovely moment played out on air on Views & News with Clarence Ford (weekdays 9am-12pm) where the Fallen Angels Pet Rescue organisation were gifted a R72 000, courtesy of Dis-Chem Pharmacies. Fallen Angels is based in Melkbosstrand, where they currently house more than 300 animals. They make it by, largely thanks to donations from the public. It was lovely to facilitate this amazing moment, that will go a long way towards caring for the vulnerable animals in our society. #animalshelter #fallenangels #dischem
