Milk Studios is growing and looking for a new UI/UX designer to integrate into our team!

Milk Studios is a digital agency specialised in designing and deploying SaaS brands, websites and products for scaling tech companies. We focus on on a collaborative process from discovery, branding, design, launch to post-launch optimization and testing.

We are looking for an individual to help us tackle ongoing projects as well as new design projects. You will be working closely with the rest of our team in a collaborative environment to define design systems, design methodologies and design direction. As a UI/UX designer, you should be comfortable building sitemaps, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes.

Responsibilities:

Develop design solutions for various platforms
Establish consistent brand and creative designs
Establish contemporary designs based on conceptual guidance
Communicate ideas with project managers using mock-ups
Collect feedback from project managers and adjust approach to cater to criteria
Build sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes to outline structure

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in user experience, design or related field
2 years of experience with UI design
Strong communication, design and creative thinking skills
Experience with Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop
Systemic and organized: You are well organized and understand the importance of systemic design. We design solutions that can be scaled and used by the whole team (we set up systems based on components, typography, colours, grids, margins, etc.).
Must be proficient in English

and Alon Skuy have been documenting the xenophobic violence in South Africa since 2008. This book is a record of the violence and discrimination that has swept through our nation over the past decade.
