Kgoshi Mampuru Mampuru III will be laid to rest tomorrow 06 February 2021 in a private burial ceremony amongst his royal forerunners and clans men. His Majesty passed away three weeks ago following the passing and burial of Sekhukhune KInig Victor Thulare III and Moletlane King Sello Kekana. These mighty astute kings passed away in succession of each other in wha has become a great loss to the Bapedi people and communities respectively. CAPRICORN DISTRICT MAYOR DONATES SANITERS TO SCHOOLS
Capricorn District Municipality (CDM) Mayor donated sanitisers temprature screeners and protective masks to ten schools in the Lepelle-Nkumpi Municipality today. The donations come as schools in Limpopo prepare to reopen during Level three (3) lock down folllowing a series of lock down levels being announced by the President of South Africa during the Covid-19 outbreak. CDM Mayor John Mpe and the Lepelle-Nkumpi Mayor Mariam Molala held a handover of the sanitisers and safety resources at the Derek Kobe Secondary School in Lebowakgomo together. YNITU marches to the Department of Health to deliver a Memorandum to the MEC
President of Young Nurses Indaba Trade Union (YNITU) Lerato Madumo says they have lost confidence in the leadership of Limpopo Health Department MEC Phophi Ramathuba. The union marched to the provincial health department today and handed over a memorandum of demands which also includes that the MEC step down from her role. The YNITU says Ramathuba has weakened the health sector by retrenching nurses that are well trained and alleges the MEC is risking the lives of patients because of lack of adequate facilities in local hospitals & clinics.
