Sterling Group of hotels launches a 46 bed hotel in Bulawayo
The Zimbabwe tourism sector seems to be gaining momentum in growth as more and more hotels are being opened or renovated.
On the 14th of April it was glits and glamour as sterling hotel launched a branch in Bulawayo on the corner Mosotsha and Robert Mugabe Street. The flagship was officially opened by The Honorable Minister of Environment, Climate, Toursm and hospitality industry.
The Minister of Environmental, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Honourable Mangaliso Ndhlovu graced the occasion. The minister was well pleased by the investment done The Sterling group to the Tourism Industry. Opening of the hotel will reduce accommodation shortages in the city especially during trade fair and other trade shows. Mr Wilfred Manyika chairman of the group explained the companys growth strategy and adding that soon they will be adding conference room to the facility.

Beijing Winter Olympics which were spoke of on the 2022 Chinese New year, has wrapped up on the evening of February 20 with a closing ceremony held at the National #stadium in #Beijing. About 20 000 lanterns were put on the spectator seats during the ceremony, a visual feast for the global audience, just like the opening ceremony of the #Games.
During the 16-days event, nearly 30 000 #athletes from 91 #countries and regions competed under the #Olympic flag
