This time of the year is harder to go home because of expectations, family dynamics, and loads of unresolved issues... The prodigal son worries that he might not be received well after failure.

But home is home . I have gone back after several failures, and I learned it recharges you and grounds you. My mother's prayers restored my faith in myself. My father lectured me, and neighbors gossiped about me.

But my spirit recharged and came back strong.... go home. Even if you go empty-handed. You will come back fulfilled. You do not remember how that felt like because of the lies and disappointment life hs shown.

Your roots are calling... go home.

When you grew up in watching your parents in a loveless marriage. You do the bear minimum for the relationship because you don't know how communicate your dissatisfaction, thinking you are sparing the other person's feelings

Masculine - deep seated resentment for relationship, feeling trapped. Small passive aggressive actions to show disinterest.
Childhood trauma- father demonstrated loyalty and obligation as love. Didn't participate in daily ongoings of the household.

Femine - thinks they can love the dissatisfaction away, often has a low self esteem. Doesn't understand want to leave because there is enough evidence to leave, because the micro aggressions aren't sufficient. Struggles with worth.
Childhood trauma- not being heard or seen by her parents. Normally occurs in first borns, who have to take care of their smaller siblings. Never been celebrated or acknowledged always highlight their faults.

The toxic pattern:
When a man finally meets a woman they love, she often walks out on them. The man doesn't see their fault because his father did it, and his mother took it. These break ups often break them, because of lack of accountability. And the toxic pattern continues...

When a woman meets a man they love, and they overdo everything. They perfect everything, not understanding what is enough. When they break up, she looses faith in love thinking it was love.

We are not perfect. Being in relationships often unearths childhood trauma. The spirit wants you to heal and do better... hence you end up subconsciously attractiving these triggers in order to heal not to punish you.

You are not alone, and you don't have to be. Love is beautiful, if you accept healing.

The spirit of children is delicate to any healer. Their innocence humbles me because that's the point where they are their most purest before trauma hits.
