COLOUR IS MY LOVE LANGUAGE... 🦜🥢and so are cultural mashups - Nikkei in Bree Street totally delivered on a feast for the senses.⁣

'Nikkei' is the term for a fusion cuisine with Japanese and Peruvian elements – a nod to the fascinating cultural exchange that began to unfold between the two countries at the end of the 19th century.⁣

What an incredible journey it's been working on content and PR for this beautiful new venue in the Paarl Winelands - Vrymansfontein, along with Vicki Sleet and Caroline Olive. The project kicked off 8 months ago with site visits complete with hard hats and wellies, and it's been wonderful to watch the space transform from ground up - from building site to a slick and stylish venue - with delicious food and wine.

Colour combo / GREEN + PALE PINK. A contemporary colour pairing… pink belongs in the red family, which sits opposite green on the colour wheel – so when paired together, these two pack a sensational punch.⁣
⁣
The key is to lavish your space with more green than pink – like this green wall with pale pink chair and flowers for pop.

Green also symbolises fresh beginnings… very apt for this pic of my gorgeous cousin’s kitchen table in Suffolk, where we sat for hours dreaming, scheming and putting the world to rights.⁣
