Knysna Fire Stories 2017 Knysna Fire Stories will document the events chronologically, from the human perspective, through written first-hand accounts, photographs and a DVD.

Knysna Fire Stories is creating a commemorative charity coffee table book detailing the real stories behind the 2017 June Knysna Fires, as told by the people who lived through them. Proceeds from this book will be disbursed to nominated charities and fire relief organisations. We are operating under the Eden Community Initiative (NPO 088-0845). WHAT TO SUBMIT:
Your first hand account or narrative

on the Knysna Fires. We’ll accept e-mails, hand written stories, photographs and even videos for the DVD accompanying the book. WHO TO NOMINATE:
Nominate your fire hero or heroine who, through deeds no matter how seemingly small, contributed in a positive way. Nominations can include individuals, social media groups or even businesses. CONTENT INCLUDES:
Knysna pre-fire, preparing for the storm, fighting the fire, volunteers, evacuations, our community spirit, animal stories, the rebuilding of Knsyna ( ). Visit www.knysnafirestories.co.za for more information.
