I'm a Deaf person. I wake up every day, with a vibrating alarm or a bright light, which sometimes becomes unbearable. I watch TV, not with the sound but use closed caption. In Transport or lunch break, alone with my friends, on Facebook, by phone, Facetime... my mobile is my salvation. I don't hear the sound of wind, birds, rain, or melody, but what my ears can't appreciate, my eyes see it. They are my most valuable asset. They are the window of my soul. And my hands are the bridge that connects me to the world, I use them to speak, to write, to understand me and express my thoughts, which are not so different from yours. We are the same, I just don't regret that I could not hear and speak like you... Yes, I am a Deaf person. I don't talk like you, but I'm not a stupid person. I can be wrong, a mistake is human, but if I'm wrong because I didn't get it, and if I didn't get it because we didn't make any effort to explain to me or because I was badly explained, it doesn't make me a fool. I've lost touch with some friends, but that's okay because I didn't truly connect with them. Fortunately, I have a few trusted friends who are incredibly kind and supportive. One friend, in particular, always looks out for me, ensuring I'm not upset or down. Another friend acts as a wonderful interpreter, helping me communicate when needed.

It's essential to choose friends wisely, as the wrong ones can bring harm. I've learned to appreciate genuine friendships and surround myself with people who truly care. ❤️🙌🏾

We apply with matric, then they want a qualification.😭 We study hard & get qualifications, then they want experience.🫤

How can you build 2-3 years of experience when you completed with schooling, college, university recently.😭 It is so unfair to our youth.😵‍💫 We might not have the Matric, Qualification & Experience, but we have the ability to learn. We have the skill to work hard & learn hard.

Give our youth the opportunity to work & let themselves proof you that they have the ability to work without matric, qualifications & experience. Let them build experience within your company/business. 🫶🏽
