STELLENBOSCH WINES EXCEL AT SHIRAZ SA AWARDS 🏆🍷
Last night, Shiraz SA celebrated vintages from a wide variety of regions at the 2024 Shiraz SA Awards 🍾 Various Stellenbosch wineries performed excellently, with the third annual Bellingham Bernard Podlashuk Shiraz Trophy being awarded to Jordan Wine Estate Stellenbosch, along with a cash prize of R30 000, sponsored by Bellingham 🏆✨
This magnificent trophy is named after the "Father of South African Shiraz", Bernard Podlashuk. Together with his wife Fredagh, Podlashuk bought the farm Bellingham in Franschhoek in 1943, and they became the pioneers who bottled South Africa's first single-varietal Shiraz in 1956 🍷⏳

POLO WINTER’24 ✨In her own words and language, Katryn Kruger shares her story from the POLO South Africa Winter ‘24 Campaign.Proudly South African, Katryn prizes (her) family, nature, her motherland and culture. It is remarkable to think that only three months ago, fires raged here in the shadow of Table Mountain. Now, new life is budding - green shoots are pushing through the ashes and is proof of the wonder of nature’s will and ability to survive, recover and regenerate. It is in nature that I experience complete mindfulness … And it is with heartfelt appreciation that I note all that Mother Nature give us: From tiny new green shoots to versatile natural fibres such as wool. From a young age my career as a model has taken me all over the world. Now I am home, rooted in the Mother City. My focus is on my family, with my value system informed by principles such as protecting my mother tongue, my culture and treading lightly on the Earth.
