'n Fees van Kerstafels
RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - Met Kersfees wat wink, is hier 'n "blink" aanbieding: kom besigtig en geniet 24 gedekte kerstafels, kry idees en ondersteun Bybelverspreiding. “Tafels vir ons Koning” vind plaas op Donderdag, 30 Oktober, Vrydag, 31 Oktober (10:00-18:00) en Saterdag, 1 November, (van 10:00 tot 13:00) in die kerksaal van die Hervormde Gemeente Rustenburg-Suid, K**kstraat 153 (direk langs Huis Sering).
Passievolle, vindingryke en kunstige mense het hul harte oopgemaak en deel hul idees en vernuf op hul tafels. Style, idees, kleurskemas verskil van mekaar. Die enigste voorskrif was: “Dek ‘n tafel vir ons Koning“. Dit beloof ‘n skou van feestelik-gedekte tafels. Kom bekyk op jou eie tyd die feestafels, skilderye en kuns. Kaartjies is beskikbaar teen R80 per persoon per dag. Kies jou eie dag. Twee kaartjies borg ‘n Bybel aan ‘n minderbevoorregte persoon. Vir die bederf kan koffie uit ‘n professionele koffiewa en tuisgebakte koek gekoop en geniet word in die teetuin onder reuse koeltebome. Die organiseerders is Johan Bezuidenhout en Elsabé Labuschagne - kerklike organiseerders van die Bybelgenootskap van SA.

Tables fit for Christmas
RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - With Christmas just around the corner no one who loves the spirit of Christmas will allow to pass unnoticed. Come and enjoy the sight of no less than 24 tables set with Christmas decorations and ideas literally out of this word and in doing so, support the distribution of Bibles throughout the country. "Tables for our King" is scheduled for Thursday, 30 October, to Friday, 31 October (10:00 to 13:00) in the church hall of the Dutch Reformed Church (Hervormde Kerk) in 153 K**k Street, Rustenburg - immediately next to Huis Sering Home for the Elderly.
Here you will find people with passion, quite "arty" and innovative people who have opened their hearts to share their ideas of how to make your Christmas table look different this year. The only directive is: "Set a table for our King". Make sure you have enough time to stroll around the hall and browse through the tables. There will also be fine works of art and handcraft. Tickets are available at R80 per person. Choose the day that suits you and bring a friend (or a few) along. Of course there will also be coffee, a "professional coffee stall, a tea garden and freshly-baked cake.
