There has been so much excitement in Victoria Bay for the SA Masters Champs. Giant surf and excellent conditions for the last four days. All of the South African heroes and legends.

Entertaining surf creative TSG is bringing the fun back into surfing in South Africa. Check out their latest release. The crew went down to Victoria Bay for the Sea Harvest Vic Bay Grom Comp presented by Rip Curl and had some absurd moments.
The swell was pumping on Saturday, and Vic Bay was totally maxed out, with sets closing out across the bay. The paddle out from the point was too gnarly, and the paddle out from the beach was worse. There were some savage beatings, some incredible rides, a few very stoked surfers who advanced, and some surfers who paddled for 20 minutes with no chance of actually getting out to the backline.
There were 120 competitors in the contest, and due to the big surf rolling thunder, it was up to the U16 and U18 Boys to surf all day on Saturday to leave space for the younger age divisions and the girls on Sunday.
TSG filmed it all, including a literal cast of hundreds, as everyone gets a chance to be famous in their productions. Raw, gritty, funny and crazy, this little clip shows the world what happens at these surf contests from the grom's point of view.
