WELCOMING OUR FIRST CHILD

I knew this was a problem to make a woman pregnant while in my early 20s.
My name is Duncan and I'm currently living in a foreign country. During my last year of high school, I fell in love with a young woman. She was a true reflection of a black-skinned girl almost my height, not tall or short.
I wasn't so much interested in girls, I wanted first to be done with academics as was the culture instilled in us by our guadians usually parents.
This day I couldn't hold myself when I saw her, I felt like I had seen an angel.
Her polished lips really caught my emotions, so shiny like diamond. She noticed how my eyes caught her from a half stone throw distance.
I've heard alot of love songs that played a role in individuals to go search for love.
That wasn't my case, a song is just a song i believe my mind takes a while to get subdued.
But surprisingly today, infront of me is something pleasing to see and desired to be with, a beautiful woman.
I fell in love with her right away, felt like I saw bits of myself in her. And to make matters worse, she was the girl I grew up with for 2 years in my childhood.
I remember in my childhood I was given to play a role as husband, they said I delt it very badly. I was everywhere following balls and others kids interests nearby leaving my wife alone... i laughs. She just smiled at me everytime I went off track, we were kids, right?
But after many years here we meet again but in real life situation.
"Florence". I screamed.
"Duncan oh my word" She responded.
She spread her arms inviting me to hold her. I held her with joy and i felt even more connected to her.
" Before I recognized you, I fell for you and I wanted to speak to you". I spoke kindly.
" You might be in some relationship but I'll be glad if you let me love you, not because of our childhood memories but because of how I feel for you". I continued.
"In you I see the whole world right in my both hands".
Both our hands held together like a zigzag, she looked into my eyes and then dropped her face down. I prayed within me, "Oh God don't let her turn me down".
"I would love to hear you again soon". She responded politely.
She was 18.
That stance I felt relieved .
"Tomorrow 2:30pm?" I asked.
"Yes, that's okay with me". She responded.
The following day was sunday scheduled to meet her again. I put on my formal clothes, black pants and brown shoes with a navy blue shirt. I looked very handsome.
I was at the local restaurant waiting for a woman who caught my attention like never before. She arrived in a simple black skirt and white browse with high heeled shoes red in color and mesmerized in blonde long weave. Her nails polished red, she looked so beautiful.
"Hie Duncan." She started.
"I'm glad you came Florence" I almost cut-off her words when she said, "Nice to meet you."
Waitress came with her jokes saying we looked lovely together. We shared it with happiness and then ordered our food. I opted for Nsima (woven meal made from maize flour. First made as maize porridge while fully boiled add maize flour in it to harden it while turning the wooden cooking stick with a good size of fire) and beef with some vegetables. She opted for rice and beef.
After we enjoyed our meal, we went for a walk at the park til late.
She stood in front of me and I held her from behind. I put my arms around her, I kissed her neck. She yelled, "Stop it". But when I stopped she drew me closer, I knew she enjoyed just like I did. I was wet and helpless, we kissed. Her lips felt like honey tapped directly from the caucuses.
"You're the best kisser." I told her.
She smiled putting her legs around my waist. I held her firmly not to drop her. At that kind of position, it was plenty of romance and kissing.
She was breathing uncontrollably so did I. The next thing I was in her thrushing, " Oh no how did we reached here so quickly". I said within me with no response. I thought the birds in branches saw us but I didn't care at all, i heard sounds too. It was quite and late almost all on dog leash had gone home.
That was my first time act with a woman and I regretted nothing at all.
The entrance gate to the park was closed, we had to jump over the shorter gate for us to exit.
Few weeks later she told me she been feeling weak. She had nausea, she disliked certain food. I felt like running away.
" How could i fell in love with someone having health issues". I whispered to myself.
Then I remembered all the good times while with her, how I thought of her day and night. And what love really means to be even in sickness and health.
She tested positive when doctor suggested she took a pregnancy test.
She was crying bitterly on the phone then she dropped the call suddenly.
I thought it's network but when i called again and she couldn't pick the call, i realized she didn't want to face me.
I wrote her a very brief text, " I'll be by your side forever because you're part of me".
After three days I went up to meet her, I could tell a sad face she wore.
Florence said, "You have done enough damage the least is to see you keep on connecting to me. You just made me a mom at 18".
I scratched my left ear using my middle finger then withdrew quickly while she talked.
I looked into her eyes, she was crying.
I drew closer to her I took a clean hunk and wipe her tears off.
"This is the last time I make you cry". I softly spoke to her.
"In few weeks I'll come with my people to show them the woman who stole my heart". I continued while her sadness slowly turning into joy.
I put my arms around her waist and we kissed.
"I loves you". She said to me.
"But I don't well,
I don't like chicken that much, but I loves you Florence". I said to her.
"Your silly joke gave me goosebumps". She gave me small slap on my right cheek.
Our families met and discussions were successful, it was over.
She moved in with me to start a family and we welcomed our first child together in unusual circumstance.
We couldn't be any happier than that despite the responsibilities that goes with it.
Our parents were very supportive although they didn't like it at first.
I haven't loved anyone like l love her. I haven't cheated on her and I wouldn't start now, we embrace each other in love everyday.
