WomanWorx notable woman this week is none other than Ujunwa Ojemeni. Ujunwa is the founder and CEO of the AWEDI NETWORK (AFRICAN WOMEN IN ENERGY DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE). Her company has one mission, to see more female representation in the energy sectors. She drives policies, investments opportunities and implementation strategies to deliver reliable energy. In energy impact investing, her work has involved working with partners to catalyze funding to the clean energy sector such as the $100Million Off-Grid Energy Access Fund (OGEF) along with the African Development Bank and others, as well as driving investments in and managing investments in various clean energy companies.
