Many parents may be feeling mixed emotions given the recent news that start of the school term has been delayed until 15 February. But, according to Dr Iqbal Karbanee, paediatrician and CEO of Paed-IQ Babyline, the pandemic is also taking its toll on young children who are being impacted by the delayed school term, who may be showing symptoms in the form of tantrums, anxiety and anti-social behaviour.

To top it all off, Mother Christmas (aka Grade 00 teacher, Mrs Pretorius) arrived and handed out year Christmas party. The grade R's from Graeme College have been excited to be back at school and have settled back into their routines. They have been learning about farming this week and the boys really enjoyed it. On the 28th of August 2020 they did some fine motor activities and practiced building
puzzles in centers. The boys had lots of fun.

The Grade 00 boys from Graeme College were really developing their fine motor skills today by using giant pins and carpets to create “push pin” pictures. This is great as an introduction to writing. They also used those little muscles to manipulate playdough and
create “cookies”.
