We didn’t get near enough funds in for this month. This means we are cash strapped and need food help.

We use 60kg of dry food a day. When we have raw to feed, each dog gets around 800 grams. We have close to 60 dogs in total.

We are fast approaching the Festive Season. This is the time of year where rescue facilities take a lot of strain and stress, right through to February. It is also the time of year where people come together to give shelter animals a bit of much needed love. Please start getting a Christmas gift box together for our Pibbles. We have 49 rescue dogs in our care. 49 dogs all needing a gift box for Christmas.

If you have a favourite, you can give your box to that dog in specific. Just let us know in advance, so we can let everyone know not to gift that dog again. All of them deserves some spoils this Festive Season.

WE WILL BE HAVING A CHRISTMAS PARTY, 21 DECEMBER. KEEP THIS DATE OPEN IN YOUR CALENDARS.

Bonded pair... Tommy and his Holly.

Left behind when their owners left the country.

Tommy is dog reactive and only accepts his Holly. He is also not used to little kids, but can do slightly older children (13+).

They don’t deserve to spend their golden years in a shelter.
Tommy is beige and white. Holly is chocolate and white.

TO ALL DJ'S, DOOR STAFF, BAR STAFF, MANAGERS etc. AND ALL FEMALES IF YOU DON’T KNOW ABOUT THIS....

A DJ was approached while working by a young girl and asked for the first time, "Is Angela working tonight?" - having read about the initiative he knew instantly what she was referencing, said yes, told her to jump in the DJ booth with him, (she was extremely nervous...) and in turn asked the nearest security guard the same question. Luckily, he too knew, and the young girl was escorted through the back of the venue and into a taxi immediately. Her "date" upon returning from the bathroom was asked to leave by management, he without delay turned violent and security stepped-in.

Basically, is a scheme in place (established in the UK) which aims at reducing s*xual violence and vulnerability by providing WOMEN and MEN with a subtle phrase to assist getting them out of potentially dangerous and helpless situations. First-dates, Tinder-dates or frankly getting home alone after a night out can unfortunately (history-proven) be a risk. I urge all DJ's, venues, those in hospitality/night-life to look into the concept and educate yourselves and your staff. It may seem extreme, but sometimes you may be someones only option.
