Congratulations on the remarkable 15 year milestone of Beyond the Classroom (BtC) leadership programme! This anniversary celebrates the vision and commitment conceptualized by Kim Elliot and Deirdre Potgieter, and their valuable impact on the yearly programme success.

These achievements are reflected in their dedication of nurturing well rounded, socially conscious, and innovative leaders who continue to make a meaningful impact within communities and across the globe. Since its inception, the leadership programme has empowered students to grow personally and professionally, instilling critical leadership skills, ethical values, and a profound sense of social responsibility.

Today, BtC Mandela Alumni are spread across various industries worldwide, serving as proud ambassadors of Nelson Mandela University. They bring the spirit of BtC into the various sectors they occupy making significant contributions as global changemakers.
