In 2022, Moosa Kajee became the first South African to compete in the eKart E20 class at the RMCGF?

The E20's impressive power output (24kW) and overall performance are due to its reduced weight and greater efficiency. The powertrain has a water-cooled motor, an inverter, and an internal vehicle control unit. It also has a boost button on the steering wheel, offering that little bit extra when you want to make a pass.

As predicted, and so it went. Perhaps not the specific driver, but the nationality was rarely in question when assigning the 2024 title in a single round. A beautiful circuit, slightly dangerous, with races that had a predictable outcome, so much so that some teams (most of them) hired local drivers for the occasion, achieving otherwise unimaginable results. We've said it many times, and we're certainly not the only ones thinking it, but the FIA World Championship (both OK and KZ) must and can be something different from a single Round. It should allow wild cards to pull off the achievement of a lifetime by winning a home race for drivers from one of the nations hosting the events, but overall, it should reward the work of an entire season—the drivers, mechanics, teams, and manufacturers involved. The highest level of this sport deserves a competition that, unlike any other motorsport, does not assign the World Champion title in a single race—unless, of course, the aim is (though it's impossible to understand why) to reduce the FIA World Championship to just another race of the year, like any other from January to December.
