OLDIES ON ORGAN

Die werksaamhede van ons skool se Radio Akademie word soms deur beurtkrag bemoeilik. Ons beplan om ‘n klein rugsteenstelsel te koop wat ons in staat sal stel om ongehinderd met ons uitsendings voort te gaan. Om fondse in te samel vir hierdie stelsel, bied ons op 27 September ‘n unieke konsert aan. Die besonderhede is aangeheg. Pionierskool bied op Vrydag, 2 Desember om 18:00, ons jaarlikse Kerskonsert aan in die Biesenbachsaal.
Daar gaan ‘n verskeidenheid van items aangebied word deur sowel ons leerders as van ons personeel.
Daar gaan ook geleentheid wees vir heerlike samesang, net om te help om die gevoel van Kersfees weer op nuut in harte te laat vlam vat.

Great News

Pioneer Radio will be back on air from this coming Friday with a special program to celebrate our first broadcast 1 year ago. Tune in at 19:00 to join in our celebrations. Our normal programming will resume from Wednesday, 14 September at 19:00. Hope to see you all on Friday night.

When you buy a Casual Day sticker for R20, Pioneer School will receive R9 of the R20, and we will ensure that all donations go towards *school or hostel fees for our children whose families cannot afford these crucial fees. Buying the sticker is then your “license” to “dress up” according to the theme on Casual Day.
The theme of 2022’s Casual Day is “I celebrate South Africa” and the aim is to focus on the positive aspects of being a South African.

Pioneer School Radio would like to welcome everybody back after the winter holidays. We’ve got exciting plans, like a visit to the studios of RSG in Cape Town this coming Friday. Unfortunately we suffered a burglery over the school holidays, and some of our much needed equipment was stolen. As a result of this, we are unable to resume our broadcasts, but we hope to have it replaced as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Due to loadshedding tonight, as well as the approaching school holidays, Pioneer School Radio will resume our broadcasts on Wednesday, 20 July 2022. In the meantime work on our new studio is going according to plan, and we hope to share some pics of that with you shortly. Enjoy the winter, and stay happy.
