Italian educator and philosopher Loris Malaguzzi pioneered the Reggio Emilia Approach, a student-centered educational philosophy. He believed that the teaching environment is the third teacher in a child's life, after adults and other children.

Malaguzzi emphasized designing educational spaces with purpose and intent, fostering children's creativity and natural desire to explore. This approach encourages a path of discovery and learning driven by the child's curiosity.

Coaching is a caring profession characterised by a trusted relationship, authentic connection, and a collaborative partnership between the coach and client. At the core of coaching lie deep, one-to-one, empathetic conversations. The ‘human touch’ is not just important, it’s critical to the whole coaching endeavour. However, this is not to say that the coaching industry will be immune to transformation by AI tools.

Future SA

South Africa remains in an unusual situation which is plagued by rampant unemployment and the most affected are the youth (our future leaders).

The country needs to develop a culture of high-quality life-long learning to foster skills development in the formal economy for productivity and employment growth. Also, to support skills development in small businesses, to promote skills development for employability and sustainable livelihoods through social development initiatives and to assist new entrants into employment.

Future SA magazine has a national footprint which is published bi-monthly to provide useful content for unemployed Youth, Unskilled Workers and SMME’s to encourage and promote skills development and education. The magazine helps to discover and connect unemployed individuals and small business owners across South Africa with skills development programs, educational platforms and institutions, networking opportunities, and ultimately employment.
