I do and I absolutely love it 🥰. My Mom thinks I’m a lil cray cray sometimes 😂😂😂

There was a time when I relied completely on the people in my life to make my birthday special and shower me gifts. And they did but more than half the time, I’d be a lil disappointed that I didn’t get what I “wanted” 🫣 - cos you can’t dictate what gifts people get you right? Only suggestions 🤷🏽‍♀️

So a few years back I decided that I am going to celebrate my birthday with my loved ones they way they want to celebrate and I’m also going to celebrate my way (whether it’s going on my splurge birthday trip or splurging on a birthday gift from to me) and it has been so freeing and so much FUN.

Sharing is caring, right 🤗🤗🤗 so here’s a plug 🔌 for dry cracking hands during these cold winter 🥶 months 🤧 that was recommended to me by a Bestie 🥰🤌🏽

Frame 2 & 5 were taken on Friday the 12 of July and after receiving the recommendation on Saturday the 13th I went straight to to buy it and started using the cream right away😮‍💨. Nothing looked pretty then 😩

Death can be such a heavy topic to talk about and sometimes even scary but unfortunately for us, death is inevitable 🤷🏽‍♀️🥺..

We laid my Great GranMa to rest this past weekend and the way she had prepared for her passing was commendable😮‍💨. Granted she was old (close to 100 years) and she had the “time” to prepare… but death isn’t just for the old🤧.

Hi Bestie 😘. My name is Olerato, I’m a Transformers obsessed Mom of 3, wife to my varsity sweetheart 💍 and 100% in my black and white outfits era 🥰

I have debilitating imposter syndrome and Lord knows how much I hate it 🥺. So I try on a daily basis to push through it and ignore the voices in my head. I also struggle with small talk and can come across as awkward 🤧 but once you get to know me, my awkwardness goes away 😉….well,sometimes 🤷🏽‍♀️

Cleaning helps me relax 🧘🏽‍♀️ which sounds insane because it’s so exhausting but when I’m cleaning, I feel more at peace, my brain slows down and I can actually just be in that moment. Which works for me cos I can’t stand a messy house. My Husband is convinced I have OCD but I’m not formally diagnosed so joke’s on him 😂.

The hair growth secret 🤫 🤭

Both Rele and Nolo have natural hair. Kamo’s hair is texturised (with relaxer once a year). It was hard at first to get products that truly worked for their hair. To keep it moisturised, healthy, and growing.

So after a lot of tinkering and buying a bunch of products 🤧, these are the ones we currently use and love 🥰

oil mixed with water (this is our hairspray) -
kids products - shampoo, conditioner, hair butter, oil & LOC butter

A lot of PATIENCE 🤌🏽

First week of Back-to-School is behind us. It has been quite an adventure, a lot to adjust to with all 3 kids starting new classes but all exciting times🤗

The end of the week has come with some more Back-to-School requirements that we need to get. At the top of the list being water. It has been rather hot and keeping hydrated is essential 🥵. I got the kids the Barbie 330ml still water bottles from conveniently at home using the app 👌🏽
