There is a reason why our Artists are working so hard on their socials. We as a company gave them milestones to reach, before releasing any music. The main reason for that is that Music consumption has changed with time.
Now a days consumers of music are all online on various social media platforms and social media is now the best and fastest way to get to them. The problem with most artist who are not signed to any record label is that they just want to release music on all platforms without actually trying to create a fan base for themselves.
Releasing music without a proper fanbase is like shouting in an empty room, no one will hear you. If you want your music to reach many people then do the ground work first. Start working on creating your brand first before anything else becoz pple dont just listen to music because its released, people listen to artists they follow, so if no one is following you, its an obvious case, no one will listen to your music.
So many artists contact me for help, so that i can help them with their music which they have already recorded and sometimes already released. So if i tell them what they should do first before we can even talk about their music, that would be the last time i would hear from them again.
Record Labels are not magicians, we are not using some sort of muti to make things work, recording companies like us are just organisations that create methods and formulas to get results using hard work, dedication and discipline.
The reason why many upcoming artist would want a collabo with Major artists is mainly because they want to take advantage of the ground work that the major artist has done without them putting any work, this is why most established artists will never agree to do a collabo with a no naimer artist. Before you ask for a collabo with a big Artist, build your own brand first so that your collaborations can benefit both parties.
