Here is a quick read for you regarding marketing perspective in our immediate small community that we continually have to explain, maybe you could help us out 🙂
We have never in the time of our service posted an ad to say what we do. We use a different approach in our community as many know when it comes to our marketing tactics. It has worked brilliantly and we now encounter a conversation that we would much rather be clear on when we receive a call.
In a nutshell, we have come across way too many businesses that expect a full house service when it comes to their "marketing"... meaning, they would like to sign-pay&reap clients... this is sadly not the way marketing works. One has to consider where the attention is, where to be involved, when and where to brand etc.
Though we as a team would like to be able to offer services such as email marketing, social media management and audience growth etc, we do not. We simply create the content that you use. Along with the strategic content we offer posting schedules that makes the management of your pages and discords alot easier to maintain. In short, content creators.
There is a variety of Social Media Management Companies(SMMA's) out there who deliver fantastic results, we are the ones who feed them with material to use with video/photo/post edits.

The internet... the state of the internet.....
People have gown so much along with the online platforms that are available to us. There is just so much attention. If you remember in 2021 majority of new TikToks that was on the FYP feeds were people making "tricks" as hooks to get you to watch their "part 2"... we see way less of that now a days and so many new methods to get and keep the audiences attention.
Our question is, have you, the business owner grabbed the opportunities at hand to be on these platforms? There are limited time left in this decade to be able to get so much attention on your business at this cost.
Voice and AI are most probably going to be the next move as we transition to new platforms that serves the community speed and luxury when it comes to consuming content and their shopping experiences. We urge you not to hesitate and learn what it is that you could be doing.

Let`s talk "Stock Footage" 💡
Definition:
Stock footage, and similarly, archive footage, library pictures, and file footage is film or video footage that can be used again in other films. Stock footage is beneficial to filmmakers as it saves shooting new material. A single piece of stock footage is called a "stock shot" or a "library shot".
Did you know that companies are often unsure whether they are allowed to use stock footage in their commercials, short ads or even just posts? You see, to simplify this, the POPIA is not in play when stock footage is being used, these people in the videos have specifically signed up to shoot these short clips of themselves in the setting of whatever format it was shot at, a office desk, restaurant, walking down the street etc..
The key with using stock footage is to make sure it "fits" perfectly in the video that you are producing. It makes less sense to use stock footage if clearly the footage does not portray your service, supports your message or has an entire different setting than the rest of your video.
Feel free to use stock footage, they are paid for, accounted for and available if needed.

BUSINESS Owners, STOP JUST TARGETING, get CREATIVE!!💡
Many ads targeted, even if it is for their ideal audience, which is scares among some marketers or marketing partners, are boosted ( paid ads ) and it reaches a major audience, let`s say 20 000 organic and 110 000 paid... The problem we see is that these ads reaches such a massive audience but the content used does not convert or convince the ideal audience to buy from them or even sign up to their email list ( whatever the role is of the ad )...
The reality is, your paid ad that reaches so many people, has to be so creative that people will have no choice but to remember you. Now, you can consistently be on their feed with a boring ad that will render useless or you can consistently speak to an audience that RESPONDS or reacts to your ad, the difference is creativity, trying out new ideas.
We urge you to start exploring more on how these different social platforms work and what the ideal content is for each one instead of leaving it for the "media guy/girl"... get involved. "Attention is the new currency", as Mr Gary Vaynerchuck says.
Do not let "marketers" fool you by showing you stats of reach...

Small - Medium - Large... whichever business size you have, we know that it is a smart move to appoint personnel to tasks that you cannot manage yourself, obviously, but what do you do about your marketing and social presence when no one is appointed to "handle" that area of your marketing budget?
Well, you could always appoint a strategist to help you with ideas and time management to take care of it on your behalf, but as we all know, it is not always the possible for businesses with smaller teams.
We would like to suggest that you learn about "scheduling"... 🤷♂️
Meaning, if you are not appointing anyone to do your social media, you should be planning what you want to post.
Here is a quick solution that could make a massive difference to your online presence:
1. List subjects on what you would want people to see ( we advise to add value to the viewers. Tips & tricks ect. )
2. Create those post in a way that well represents the quality of your product/service ( video performs better than posters )
3. Then, go onto either the business suite of your Facebook or the Creator Studio ( you will find this when you go to your videos tab, it will say "visit creator studio ), here you will be able to schedule those posts you have created to automatically be posted on the days you have chosen.
4. Spend more time ( if there is no boosting budget ) on groups, interacting with people and adding value to potential customers.
..and there you go, this might not be the approach that will benefit your selling ratio to an 5/1 but it sure will give you opportunity to build your social presence with no budget AND give you time to explore on which content works best for your ideal audience.
Remember not to spam people. You are building a reputation here, branding is a strategy game and you want to win in the long run, which is what social media marketing is all about.
Now go, build your organic reach and remember to add value!
