The Abundant Media Group wishes you all a blessed . The theme this year is “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” We have taken stock this year of how incredibely inspired we are by communities across the country who, even when they have very little, have still reached out to lend a hand to those around them in times of crisis.

Olwethu Leshabane
Media entrepreneur, blogger and podcaster, Leshabane recently landed a television presenting gig as the host of the TV show “Oh Baby”, which is screened on 1Magic on DStv. The show is about pregnant women’s experiences and baby showers.
Leshabane also launched and hosts the podcast, The Sit Down with Olwethu Leshabane, which unpacks everything that affects women, from career development and relationships to parenthood and marriage. Leshabane is also founder of the Red Wings Project, a NPO aimed at highlighting the lack of sanitation and misery of disadvantaged women unable to access adequate sanitary products and care.

The Abundant Media team thoroughly enjoyed a team building exercise based on the theme, Master Chef. Teams were divided into three groups, each with eight team members. The first team went by the name, Abu-Delicious Chicken, the second was Shaun of the Sheep, and the third was Morogo Mafia Lekker.

Each team had 8 hours to create a potjie using their ingredients. In amongst the cooking chaos, the teams also painted their own team logos, and tasted different fruits and spices while blindfolded, cheered on by team members who weren’t allowed to give the name of the spice or fruit away to the blindfolded team member.
Abu-Delicious Chicken won the ‘best potjie’ of the day.

All those who participated had a blast and enjoyed the opportunity to have a laugh, work as a team and to share a day filled with challenges and good food.

Break your own records, with comparing yourself to another's achievements. Look at yourself as unique. Stay motivated through positivity and good habits. This will help you be a better version of yourself every day.

Focus on learning new techniques, ideas or things that can enhance your performance. If one concentrates on improving himself in all the ways possible, he is sure to achieve excellence.

Abundant Media had initiated a Wellness Incentive Program, as a way to promotes health, wellness and fun at the office. Today's challenge was for the staff to take a selfie, but be as creative about it as they could be. The winner would earn extra 'tickets' towards their points - moving them closer to the desired incentive points.

These are today's contributions, and the winner, who earns double points is Susan van Niekerk.Congratulations!
