In memory of the late Julian Stobbs, a fearless Cannabis activist whose legacy continues to inspire, we are so proud of The Dagga Couple Scholarship in partnership with Fields of Green for ALL.
Julian's unwavering dedication to Cannabis legalization in South Africa left an indelible mark on our community.
This scholarship offers a chance for passionate individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds to embark on our 12-week Cannabis Industry 101 course, including a 4-week internship.

It seems that its not only us South Africans that have issues with plant counting.
Releaf Malta, an NGO that acts as a voice for cannabis consumers of the Southern European island country, has called for an adjustment of the legal possession limits within private residences.
Malta has an allowance for growing only four plants and possessing only 50 grams of dried flower at home and 7grams in public, which keeps their community at a high risk of police raids and brutality.

IT HAPPENS TO YOU - IT HAPPENS TO US At Fields of Green for ALL we have worked tirelessly to inform the public about their Human and Constitutional Rights surrounding Dagga. Due to the ongoing persecution of Dagga and those that use the Plant, a criminal association remains ubiquitous. On the morning of 4 July 2023 our team member Riaan van der Merwe was stopped en route to work in the Honeydew area by two police officers. When asked why he had been pulled over, the officers claimed they wanted to search the vehicle for Dagga. However, they provided no evidence as to why. Riaan complied, but under duress. He did, however, make sure to get his phone to record the incident, revealing the poor manner in which the male officer treated him. Later in the day, Riaan realised his debit card was missing and we suspect the officer conducting the “search” pilfered it. According to our Constitution, arbitrary search and seizure of one’s person, property, or possessions are forbidden. 14. Privacy Everyone has the right to privacy, which includes the right not to have (a) their person or home searched; (b) their property searched; (c) their possessions seized; or (d) the privacy of their communications infringed. Riaan was therefore acting within his rights when he asked why the officers wanted to search his vehicle as he was essentially singled out in a “random pull-over” without a valid reason. Understanding this, Riaan headed over the Honeydew Police Station at the end of his working day on 4 July to query the actions of the officers who stopped him. While at the station, Riaan interacted with an administrative official (role and name unknown). They outlined that he had been subjected to a random stop and search. Riaan countered that despite this being procedural that it is not necessarily legal, particularly when a proper reason is not provided for why a vehicle is stopped and searched.
