Today might be the day you want to give up, throw in the towel and go back to your safe zone.

It might be the day you don't want to do anything and say ill get to it tomorrow.

You might be running around after your kids or family and feel you can't possibly do that one task that really needs to get done!

BUT.. today only comes around once!!

Do something today to get you to your goal!

Even if you don't get it all done today, make a start! Complete a manageable, bite sized chunk of your work so you can feel that you have achieved something today, and there is slightly less to be done tomorrow.

I am offering one on one Canva lessons via Zoom.

I will be teaching all the basics so you can create your own:
- Logos
- Social media posts
- Facebook banners
- e-Invites
- Christmas cards

Canva is an amazing program to work in, and the free version is more than good enough in most cases! ( I use Canva to create all my posts)

The lessons will be R450 for a roughly +- 45 minute session, where you will learn how you can create almost anything yourself!

Looking after yourself is essential!

Sometimes you need to take some time out to relax and recharge, so that you can start fresh again and solve the problem you were working on.

Go for a walk, w**d the garden, dance to your favourite music, or have a cup of coffee and small the roses.

Within even 20 minutes you will feel ready to get back to what you were doing and conquer the world!!

You are a powerhouse! You can do anything and everything, but so you really enjoy every aspect of your business?

So often I second guess myself.

I go over conversations a thousand times to try to figure out if I said something to offend someone, if that is the reason they never replied to my email or I never heard back from them.

So I catch myself trying to reinvent who I am so others might want to work with me, but then I remember.... These are not my people!

I am great at what I do, I am thorough in my work, I am punctual, and I get things done!

So if some people don't want to work with you because they think you should be (fill in the blank) you can bend over backwards to try to please them so they might work with you, or you can keep true to yourself, know your self worth, and find someone who will work with you for who you are.

Let me introduce myself and tell you a bit about the person behind JDCreationsInc.

My name is Joyce and I am a mother of a super amazing toddler.

I am a very creative and super organised person (those two don't often mix, I know!) I love coffee, cosmetics, fabrics, and reading.

I have spent the better part of the last 15 years being a Personal Assistant, transitioning into a Virtual Assistant in 2015.

In between that I have studied to be a Makeup Artist, spent 2 years studying Fashion Design and Garment Construction part time, and recently completed a online Graphic Design short course. Now I am learning basic coding!

I love working on multiple projects simultaneously, keep my books in alphabetical order and arranged by height, and can tell you where anything in my house is at any given time (if I have packed it away)

I love getting things done and dusted, and do little happy dances when projects get completed.

We always find a million reasons to procrastinate, and wonder why we don't get ahead..

Nothing happens on its own, you have to work for it!

We want everything to be perfect before we start, great website, perfect copy, amazing photos etc.

But just diving in, getting started and getting clients is sometimes more important!!
