LOADSHEDDING SUSPENDED

“Due to the sustained available generation capacity and the planned return to service of 2 300MW of generation capacity by Friday, along with the anticipated low demand over the long weekend, loadshedding will remain suspended until Sunday at 16:00,” said Eskom in a statement today.

LOADSHEDDING OUTLOOK FOR THE WEEK

Stage 2 Loadshedding will be implemented from 16:00 until 05:00 the following day. Thereafter, Loadshedding will be suspended until 16:00.

This pattern will be repeated until further notice.

LOADSHEDDING IMPLEMENTED TONIGHT

In a surprising announcement, Eskom said that Stage 3 loadshedding will resume from 20:00 tonight until 05:00 on Friday, 22 March 2024.

Thereafter, loadshedding will be suspended again from 05:00 on Friday until 16:00.

Ebony Park, Kaalfontein Ext. 1 and Ivory Park Ext. 2 & 3; Ebony Park Ext. 5 (Cell C); Kaalfontein 7A & 7B, Clayville and President Park will be affected by the Loadshedding as follows:

Friday, 22 March No Loadshedding

KAE NORTH
Kaalfontein Ext 22 & Allandale will be affected by loadshedding as follows:
Thursday, Human Rights Day No Loadshedding

Rabie Ridge, Kanana, Mayibuye, Kllipfontein will be affected by loadshedding as follows:

LOADSHEDDING SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

“Due to the lower demand anticipated from tomorrow until the weekend, and an increase in available generation capacity, loadshedding will be suspended from 05:00 on Thursday until further notice” Eskom said in a statement on Wednesday.

Stage 2 Loadshedding will continue until tomorrow morning.
