SENIOR PROPHET LIABUNYA STATEMENT ON CYCLONE FREDDY in English & Chichewa

The Servant of God, Senior Prophet Austin Liabunya, has confirmed with great regret the devastation that Cyclone Freddy has caused in the southern region of Malawi where lives and property have been lost.

On this note, the Senior Prophet joins other servants of God and all Malawians in praying for the families that have been affected directly or indirectly.

Further, the Senior Prophet, with the little he has, joins government and the people of goodwill who continue to stand with the victims in donating food items, shelter, etc.

Gwamba Skyrockets Ticket Selling in North

Rapper-songwriter Gwamba has had 1300 tickets of Mzuzu show sold out in incredibly short amount of time.

The show scheduled for 21st November at Mzuzu stadium for Gwamba's Live Loncert tour sold first 1300 tickets in 2 hours.

This was after fans demanded Gwamba to perform in northern region when first show was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Back on 2019, tickets were released for a show in Lilongwe, which were all gone in 2 days.

Gwamba put out a tweet saying "Sold 1300 sold!!! In 2 hours".

Gwamba first made a name for himself with his debut album Ndiima Pachulu" released in 2011 and has since gone on to become the most successful Malawian rapper of all time.

Dr Namadingo In Horrific Car Accident

Malawian music heavy weight, Namadingo is reportedly to be involved in a car accident.

According to multiple sources, the Mapulani hit maker got involved in an accident on Friday night.

After looking at the pictures which are circulating on social media, it see seems the car overturned.

Early on Sunday, 14th November, Elation Entertainment released a statement confirming about the accident.

"On behalf of management, we confirm the Said news to extent that the accident did happen, but that fortunately, Namadingo did not sustain any injuries, and that he is enjoying good health", reads the press release.

The police car was also spotted on the accident spot.

Malawi's two music icons, Onesimus and Namadingo have been caught on social media in what seemed like a battle of who has the better income.

It all started when Namadingo posted a Facebook status that was meant to attack self-styled African Butter, Onesimus in a subtle way.

"Namafans lets practice a culture of working and owning things in our names. Kungopatsidwa kapena kubweleka mwaulele sizinthu, what follows ndiukapolo woopsa zedi. Akati khala apa. Usasunthe. Pita uko. Gwada, iiiii ayi.", Says the first part of the status.

Two hours later while Doc's status was still receiving mixed reactions, Onesimus indirectly responded.

It is believed that Onesimus gets financial help from his spiritual father, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri.

You are a worker, you just got your salary deposited into the bank. At the payment point, MRA already gets 30% as payee. That's a 200,000.00 earner banks 170,000.00 post tax.

K170,000.00 goes into the bank, 16.5% gets deducted as Value Added Tax as you transact and you remain with K141,950.00 in your hands.

You take the money to buy groceries, MRA again will come to collect 16.5% value added tax on groceries you buy remaining with K118, 521.00. In short government will go away with at least 63% of your earnings and leave you with 37% of your earnings for your daily life.
