A two house burnt down in Matshelapata village Ga-Sekororo in Ward 14 Maruleng early today around 5:50 in the morning. It is not clear what causes the fire. ebe ke kgopela donation.

A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT ON D21 ROAD LEFT TWO DECEASED

A terrible accident that occurred on D21 road in Turkey 2 village Ga Sekororo, Maruleng local Municipality ward 07 left two people died and 5 serious injured when two motor vehicles collided head on near Albany Sport Ground.

It is alleged that a white Ford ranger speeding collided with white corse bakkie on a head on collision. Two people certify dead on the scene while 5 people transported to Sekororo hospital in a critical condition. 4 people were trapped inside the two cars and 2 were taken out with the assistant community members while two certify dead still trapped in the car.

BREAKING NEWS

A 42 Years old Man from Willows village Ga-Sekororo has been arrested in connection with a brutal murder of a Woman who was found dumped on the main road at Sedawa Village in Hoedspruit policing area on Monday 10 July 2023.

The Man was arrested in one of the Sangoma in Nelspruit while performing cleansing ceremony on Wednesday 19 July by Hoedspruit Police. The female body was found lying on the main road near Matsikinyane and during investigation, it was established that the deceased has suffered multiple stab wounds. The body was covered with a duvet. The woman's body was later identified.

The Man will appear in Hoedspruit Magistrate court on Monday 24 July.

SHEBESHXT RETURNS TO COURT

Shebeshxt is facing charges of attempted murder, assault, damage to property, and discharge of a firearm.

The Sharpeville massacre occurred on 21 March 1960 at the police station in the township of Sharpeville in the then Transvaal Province of the then Union of South Africa (today part of Gauteng). After demonstrating against pass laws, a crowd of about 7,000 protesters went to the police station. Sources disagree as to the behaviour of the crowd: some state that the crowd was peaceful, while others state that the crowd had been hurling stones at the police and that the mood had turned "ugly". The South African Police (SAP) opened fire on the crowd when the crowd started advancing toward the fence around the police station; tear-gas had proved ineffectual. There were 249 victims in total, including 29 children, with 69 people killed and 180 injured. Some were shot in the back as they fled.

NEWS-President Cyril Ramaphosa has informed National Assembly Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula and NCOP Chairperson Amos Masondo that 3474 members of SANDF have been deployed from March 17 to April 17, 2023. This deployment is in cooperation with the SAPS for the purpose of preventing and combating crime, as well as maintaining and preserving law and order in South Africa. The operation is called OPERATION PROSPER.This deployment will cost R166 million.

"POURED WITH ACID FOR R20 "

Orange farm.... According to the statement released by police on sunday the complainant was with his friend when they met at extension6 Orange Farm. The victim said that his friend asked her to take a picture with him.
The victim saw a R20.00 note on the back cover of her cellphone and he took it out and asked her for it. The Suspect said yes but the victim who is a male could see suspect was not happy. He then tried to give her back her money but she refused to take it back.
The victim was later stopped at the side of the road by the female suspect and her mother was armed with a panga. The victim then said that the suspect poured something on him and he only realized that it was acid in his face and over his body.

The suspect was arrested and the case is still under investigation and the suspect appeared already on the magistrate court.
