THE MADE INLIMPOPO FILMMAKERS PROJECT is searching for two entry-level camera operators and two sound recordists to join our 2024 learnership program.
Filmmakers need to have at least 1 year of technical experience with a film set. They must know the basic camera settings and understand the basics of shooting for film.
Lastly, filmmakers must be living in or from Limpopo and able to accommodate themselves for two months in Polokwane.
A weekly stipend will be paid to selected participants.

Meet our writer/director, Thabang Phaladi-Shai
A BSc in Molecular Life Sciences graduate, a writer, a 4 time slam poetry champion, a concept developer and a director at Slam Emporium PLK.
Thabang, formally known by the stage name Poetic Dee, had his first one man poetry show in the University Of Limpopo in 2017, where he launched his self-published chapbook titled "CHRONICLES OF HOME" and he has been featured twice on the Slam Emporium PLK's One on One sessions as the featured poet in 2018, and 2019. He has been in the Top 5 Word 'n Sound Poetry slam in 2019.
He is the Current State Of Poetry Limpopo provincial slam poetry champion.
He took part in the Polokwane Literary Fair Festival in 2019, featured in the Top 30 of the Hayithi ya Africa Storytelling competition in 2020. This poems have been published in Keyaka and Mega Artists magazines.
