Its been almost two years since the first COVID-19 case was reported in SA.
“Covid-19”, “lockdown”, “social distancing” – phrases which were unknown to us a mere 2 years ago, but which have now become part of our daily vocabulary.

In what felt like one fell swoop back in March of 2020, our normality crumbled. Schools closed, workplaces went remote. During this continued time of uncertainty, extraordinary people were making extraordinary things happen.

There are so many stories of people going above and beyond, with such flexibility, to help people in our communities. Aurath Online chatted with 3 remarkable individuals, who shared their triumphs and fears amidst the uncertainties surrounding them. First up is Dr Adhavna Bodasing.

We would also like to take this opportunity of thanking all people on the frontline, be it healthcare, education, retail, security and many others. Your selfless dedication will always be remembered. You all are the real heroes!
