Marketing 101

I , feel the need to remind my fellow entrepreneurs how crucial this is for the success of any business.

If we're not informing the market of what we sell, how can we EVER expect to make sales..? 🥹🤷🏻‍♀️

Seriously, this may seem like common sense, but I personally don't believe it's a lack of logic, as much as I perceive it to be a lack of confidence.

Lack of confidence is either a result of low passion, proficiency, and/or purpose.

- people can't buy what you sell if they don't know what you're selling

Being called by God to serve through business means He calls us as a bond servant unto Him, not a bond servant unto man!

We need to therefore for sure we are sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit with regards to who we build business relationships with. Whether it be clients, suppliers, supporters, or mentors.

All who we connect with should be under complete surrender and submission to what the Lord leads us to do.

THERE is where we may find complete and abundant prosperity within business and all areas of our lives.

All online platform algorithms are built to do is understand the audience. Social Media platforms don't push content for creators. An effective algorithm pulls content for viewers. Whatever we steward well, God will increase.
But if we do not (faithfully) steward well what God gives us, He will remove it from us and give it to the faithful stewards. God is an investor in His Kingdom and His will. He entrusts us with our gifts as an investment into His Kingdom. Not for status and earthly treasures. 🩵🙋🏻‍♀️🙏

Remember to switch up content types from video Reels to single and carousel images and don't forget stories - on Instagram specifically.

When it comes to algorithms on ANY PLATFORM. The goal is to keep audience attention for as long as possible, therefore, the platform will increase exposure on different forms of content to test which format grabs and retains audiences.

Some people prefer scrolling through images over watching videos.

Marketing Talk Monday is all about

In layman's terms - knowing your audience.

One of our favorite quotes, which sounds similar to our post for today's marketing tip, goes like this:
"The content creator who knows their audience best wins"

The same can be said for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and even multi-million corporations.

The point is to know who we are serving so we can serve them better on an ongoing basis.

Not just serve what we THINK they want or need!

Align solutions with wants and needs, rather than looking for people to pay you for what you want to serve them 😁✌️🩵🙏

Sundays Servant Heart posting time came and went, but WE HAD A FANTASTIC FAMILY DAY so I'm at peace 😁✌️

I've learned through much suffering that posting times and consistency is not as important as the people we serve.

Yes there are ways to schedule things and yes it's part of providing a trusted service to keep to times, but I want to release you to peace by letting you know YOUR TIME ON EARTH IS NOT YOUR OWN so you should be willing to submit to things not going according to the ways and times that you planned 🤗🩵🙏

I hope someone found encouragement and grace and peace from this post.

Another Facebook Meta Update!

Reels on Facebook are going performing extremely well and Meta developers are holding nothing back to keep the sharing going!

If you've seen a decrease in Reels performance on Instagram, just know you're not the only one and it's not you or your content. Meta is just pushed Reels on Facebook MORE - for now 😅

So go over to Facebook and share your Reels there and DON'T FORGET TO TURN ON "SHARE ALSO TO INSTAGRAM".

Sharing from within the platform itself also works in your favour. It's sometimes more work, but the little bit of extra effort is sometimes worthwhile. Try it out and see what works for you, your accounted and your audience. BE YOU! AUTHENITC, HONOST AND ETHICAL 😉 Don't copy other people 😁👍🩵

August 2020 😷, I launched my own web design business, but what most do not know is that just before the launch I was contacted by my previous employer who asked me if I might consider joining them again. 💰 They made me quite a lucrative offer and even sweetened the deal by letting me know that it's a completely "work from home" position, which meant that my life would not need to change much, I would just be receiving a steady salary WITH COMMISSION as an employee rather than supporting my husband in his business. 🤔 They gave me time to think about it, and I sincerely SERIOUSLY considered this offer!!! 🙏 In the end, I'll be honest - not right from the start, I prayed and asked the Lord what He would have me do. The Lord reminded me of how He meant for me to be my husband's helper, to which I then responded to the Lord, "Yes, well... This would be a huge help for my husband. " 😆😅👏 😱🤯 Then! I heard from the Lord, CLEARLY! "LAMEEZ, WILL YOU CHOOSE TO LEAN ON THE ARM OF MAN OR WILL YOU CHOOSE TO LEAN ON ME?" 💪💪💪 You know, one of the most undeniable ways to determine that you have heard from the Lord is when you immediately receive revelation, understanding, comfort, conviction, and peace, all IN AN INSTANT! 🧐🔎 I searched His scriptures, confirmation, and agreement/approval from my husband. Since then, it's been imperative that all business decisions that make are about DOING BUSINESS GOD'S WAY! Why? Because we DEPEND ON HIM and LEAN ON HIM, not man, for every ounce of provision for our family. 🥹💙🙏🔥😭 #doingbusinessgodsway #biztalk #christiansinbusiness #dependentongod #lameezbailey

Women Empowerment has always made me feel slightly uneasy. At first, I brushed it off as "me being me." For a while, I didn't really enjoy the idea of celebrating birthdays 😆😅 But, this time, I felt a strong urge inside of me that would stir up almost separate from my own feelings. Each time I heard women lashing out in anger, almost violently, in defense of women abuse, or mothers bad-mouthing fathers, or daughters being taught to stand up against men and make their future husbands understand that as the women, they have all the power in the relationship because they have what the man wants. 😭😭😭 It's now spilled over to the professional environments, where women either strive to Lord over men, prove that they don't need men, can do better than men or even worse, they have the ability to seduce men out of their authority. It's EVIL 😢🙏 The Lord reminded me of how He thought of us as women, when He created THE FIRST WOMAN 🌺 He created a gentle, delicate HELPER FOR MAN! God is not a man that He would lie. 🙏 As the church, the Bride of Jesus, we represent women, the Helper of the Husband/Bridegroom. Helping Jesus to complete the will of the Father, and bring His Kingdom to earth. Amen 💙 This is why I felt to host this event, on Women's Day. Because I believe, if we as women and men, understand this.
