I always meet people who say they want to write and publish books, and my question to them is always this..."Where's your pen and journal/ notebook?"

Content for your book doesn't come when you sit down and say I'm writing a book. Content is everywhere; in every interaction, every feeling, every thought and every experience.

A writer's responsibility is to freeze those moments for readers to experience them as they did.

I have notebook everywhere, next to my bed,in my car, bag, I even have one close to my kitchen. You never know when inspiration will drop by✒✒✒

I will never forget these beautiful young voices who agreed to bless us at my book launch back in 2017. I only had to ask once, and they were like, "say no more Sis"💟

The ladies from the Home of Safety we had the launch at were so blessed, they felt so special - most importantly they felt seen, acknowledge and appreciated.

I pray a limitless blessing upon each and every one of these beautiful Angel voices🌟

As a little girl I used to write, a lot. I wrote letters to people, to make them feel happy. If you looked slightly sad, that was my cue to jot down some sweet words to you. I see you crying, yup it's time for pen to hit paper.

Everytime someone from the past reminds of a letter I wrote them, I blush, ya'll don't know what that does to me. It validates what I've always known to be truth, just challenged by facts.

The one I'll never forget is a Gogo who lost her husband. I was young but I saw the pain in her eyes and felt it from her heart. After prayer service at her home one night, I got home, couldn't sleep thinking about her. I took out my pen and book, and started writing. When I was done, I tore the paper off, folded it into "isbhilivana" size (ask a Xhosa speaking friend what that is)😜 and tucked it safe in my jacket. When we went to prayer the next evening, I gave her a hug with the letter. Well, the rest is history and even to this day she would remind me of that letter which she kept safely for years after.

Parents, be intentional and ask for divine assistance when raising your children. God makes no mistake. When we come to the earth realm, we are bearing something which our baby selves know clearly because we're still undiluted. Don't impose your own ideologies in children, find God's idea about them; nurture and enhance it. You'll save your children and yourselves a great deal of time, energy and money.

Today, I have come full circle and I'm doing exactly what I started doing as a baby. I'm an author and now I help others author what Source deposited in them.

PS: by the way, this is the reason why my school books finished quickly, I was busy tearing off pages and writing izibhilivana🤣🤣🤣

Hey Book Lovers📚

So, as you know we started our BOOK O'CLOCK THURSDAY lunchtime live session last week. This week though it's my Birthday 🥰🤩🥳, and so I won't be able to go live. Honestly, I've been an emotional wreck the whole of today😭😭😭

Reflecting back on my journey, coincidentally I came across an amazing memory about the book I was planning to share with you today (which I'll still share on next week😉)

A couple of years back, almost 10yrs, I was gifted with this book. I had read many books on prayer before, but this one was no ordinary book. It tapped into a deep part of me that I didn't even know existed - a Warrior🛡🗡

I share a few of the strategic prayers I started from that time on. My prayer life has never been the same again🙌🏾

The power of books💪🏾! The power of storytelling🗣! I believe the fearless woman of prayer I am today has been highly influenced by this book. The tools I picked up from it are still in my toolkit. And every now and again, I take them for a service and refresh my memory by reading a chapter📖.

PS: it is one of the books that live next to my bed😁. It's like having a tangible ever present friend💞

The very first time I signed a copy of my book felt surreal, like I was dreaming. I couldn't believe I was holding book - my book in my hand📚

Look at God💫

No wonder I permanently had a tissue in my hand that evening, I couldn't stop the tears🥺. My dream had suddenly moved from fantasy to reality.

Well, my excitement was replaced with a new anxiety. Will it accomplish it's purpose now that it was out of my hands, with my signature of approval and into the hands of many others...
