UNIVERSITY OF LIMPOPO STUDENT PROTESTING OVER UNPAID ALLOWANCES

MANKWENG - Students staying off campus have embarked on a strike demanding their monthly allowances.

Lectures have been disrupted for the rest of the day and police are on the scene.

The students say some have not received their allowances dating back to February.

The group together with landlords have barricaded the main gate preventing those who want to leave or enter.

Am kgaugelo Mosomane , 23 years of age . My culinary journey began on 2019 at chefs training & innovation Academy ( centurion compus ) .It wasn't an easy journey , the experience has been tough but amazing. As I humbled myself I learned & I grew that's why today I am a Qualified Culinary & patisserie chef in profession. I am beacause of the passion & love of cooking within through out my journey so far I've learned that this is not for feint of the heart. Being a chef it's very different than cooking at home. Following your dreams is never easy, there's always a new obstacle , I remember when I started some people would say out of all careers why did u choose cheffing , you lazy to study and staff but because they didn't understand the passion & love within me thats why I never give up & some of their discouraging words made me who I am today . I do what I love & I love what I do. I am a go getter that's why I was able to gain my self a 3rd name which is Chef.

PUERTO RICO - The 70th edition of Miss-World has been postponed due to Covid-19 concerns. The competition will resume within 90 days,of which former miss South Africa Shudufhadzo Musida is a participant.

The competition was scheduled to take place on 16 December in Puerto Rico.
