“Growing up, I wanted to become a supermodel. When I finally joined the industry, the world ‘people’ tried to tear me apart ‘my confidence’. They mocked me for being so skinny that I almost hated my body and who I was until I remembered WHY I started it. Everyone had something negative to say about me forgetting that we all ain’t perfect when it comes to our bodies and looks. Regardless of what they said, I held my head high for I knew what I wanted to achieve. The hate and mockery somehow scored me recognition by a few big brands/companies, photographers and modelling gigs that includes Fila South Africa , adidas Originals , Mzansi Fashion Revival[Was their Face] just mentioning a few. Being a model wasn’t the IDEAL GOAL, the aim was to gain extensive experience in all the type of modelling and to build a good relationship with MODELS Coaches and I did. So having my own modelling company was exactly what I dreamt of. My goal was and still is to uplift and build confident to young people from the rural communities who wish to grow in the industry but are discouraged by the society.
I would say in regards to how to conquer modelling problems is to be truthful to yourself. This is a major one because if you're not truthful to yourself whether that be in regards to your skills, emotions, mental health, or perspective you will not be able to shift your own personal dynamic, situation or problem. This can be applied to anything, ultimately if you're not being truthful with yourself, you will lack the awareness in regards to what you have to do to shift the issue since you're already coming from the mindset of there not being an issue. I am here to remind you that it can all be achieved through believing in yourself and your craft.”
