Ward 95 African National Congress Youth League would like to wish all matriculates within the branch of Sibusiso Magwanyana demarcated in ward 95 all the best as they are going to write their first final examination paper tomorrow 30 October 2023. This examination is one of the keys that can open their doors of future and great life opportunities.

We wish our matriculates to stay calm and focus while going to write their first examination. They going to be writing exactly what they have been doing since January. This simple means, the paper is definitely not going to be strange to all of them. They need to remain calm, focused and acumen to tackle these exams. We hope our passing rate in all our schools will be best then the previous year. The prayers we have been making for them were necessary because they are going tơ strengthen them and protect them before the wish of the devel.

Year 2024 is going to be the year when all matriculates will be expected to start facing life outside high school. In the institutions of higher learning, we wish to lobby class 2023 to look for SASCO as the organisation that can represent them on the SRC elections.

it is indeed not an easy journey outside high school, but we trust that you all going to walk it without any distractions. ANCYL ward 95 also wish to condemn the acts of committing su***de after receiving results in January. This should be condemn before everything because it takes away the joy of passing through challenges, there is always a second chance for everything. So all students should just remain calm and get in-touch with the ANCYL leadership. Where we can, we shall support you all. We also hope that all students applied through CAO for the 2024 academic year.

If not, there is still time to do an application, since CAO closes on Tuesday 31 October 2023.

Revolutionary greeting to all young people of our branch Sibusiso Magwanyana.

Ward 95 African National Congress Youth league held it Branch Annual General Meeting on the 3rd June 2023, KwaGogo Dlomo Church renewing it mandate which is a constitutional obligation. The conference was a peaceful one in which the leadership was elected without any contestation amongst it members.

The following cdes were elected in the office bearer

1. Njabulo Khwela - Branch Chairperson
2. Zinhle Jaca - Deputy Chairperson
3. Mthobisi Mkhungo - Secretary
4. Phumla Nsimbi - Deputy Secretary
5. Hasina Mchunu - Treasurer

The conference agreed in ensuring the restoration of unity in our branch. Taking note of membership that was recruited parallel to the one that was done by the branch leadership.

The ANCYL in ward 95 has been undermined in a highest note. Comrades use their proximity to undermine the branch leadership. The previous year was a very challenging one, where the ANCYL branch secretary and Chairperson could not seat in the BEC meetings of the ANC while the ANC recognising another comrades whom were claiming to be the branch task team.

As much as we see that the ANCYL is being divided by elders, we took it upon our selves that we shall continue with the programs that will make the ANCYL relevant to the needs of branch youths.

The leadership of the branch is however willing to put “unity” the subject of all it meetings and programs. Since it is the only thing we want for the upcoming National Elections. It not going to be easy, but we are willing to unite as difficult as it could be.

We have further agreed that we going to do co option for the comrades that were doing parallel recruitment in order to have an inclusive ANCYL.

Our main objective is to rally young people behind the burner of the African National Congress.

There is a new bad trend going rounds in the community of Folweni. “The thug trend” there are groupings now agwazanayo. According to our source. There has been a lot of noice and physical conflict amoungst young people eSouthgate and B section. Kugwazane abafanyana now sebeyaqoqana bahambe behlasela imizi yabantu.
