You can definitely make money as a producer and it's not that difficult to get started. 1) You can make money by uploading your music on streaming services (like spotify, Itunes) but the pay/stream is not that much. There are plenty of free options like distrokid. 2) You can sell your beats online (selling track licenses), a lot of rappers, vocalist are looking daily for beats to sing on 3) Sell your project (flp's or ableton files) on platfroms like sellfy (paid) or payship (free) for a small amount of money. You can promote your stuff by uploading YouTube video's. People are daily looking for projects on YouTube 4) Start selling gigs on Fiverr, do services like mastering or mixing, even teaching. The service is free (but the Fiverr fee is quite a lot) 5) Start ghostproducing, a well produced track could make easily up to 400-600 euro depending on the quality of the production. Unfortunately for all of them you will require a certain skill and production quality. If you are a beginner producer I recommend focussing on making quality content and focus on proper mixing and mastering.
