BOYFRIEND'S HEINOUS CRIME LEAVES FAMILY SEEKING JUSTICE

WINTERVELDT - A brutal incident has shaken the Winterveldt community in the Lempe area, where a mother, Nompumelelo, and her young daughter, Sinethemba, were allegedly killed and burned beyond recognition by the mother's boyfriend on Sunday, April 13, 2025, around 4:00 AM.
The suspect was arrested later after the community discovered him with blood on his arms and found evidence at his residence, including a petrol container and a key to the women's room, suggesting a premeditated act.
Reports suggest that the suspect failed to appear in court on Tuesday, allegedly due to the "absence of the docket."
The family has received no communication from the police about the case, leaving them uncertain about the next court appearance or even whether the suspect is still in custody.
The lack of updates has added to the family's anguish, and they are growing increasingly frustrated with the justice system. The family continues to seek justice for the heinous crime that took the lives of two innocent lives.
